Doulas - Doulas support women and their families during pregnancy, childbirth and early parenthood. This support is practical and emotional but non-medical in nature. Doula UK supports doulas by offering guidance and support with preparation courses and ongoing study days. Doula UK also provides information to parents, the media and health professionals with regard to doulas.

Independent Midwives - Passionate about independence in maternity care, champions of midwifery autonomy.  IMUK are the leading voice for independent midwives in the UK.

National Childbirth Trust - The nationwide centre for courses and advice with pregnancy, chidbirth and with little ones. Also organises regional sales of little ones' second hand clothes, books and other baby-related things, as well as meet-up for mums and mum-to-be. These courses are a really good way to find friends to spend your time with before and after childbirth, as well as friends for life, and a good way to share pregnancy and post-pregnancy information.

NHS - Provides a wealth of advice from conception through to early years advice and statistics. Also offers a weekly through to monthly email service of update emails on your pregnancy term and baby's age. This offers a wealth of relevant information about your term, your baby at that stage and what you need to be thinking about as parents.

The Baby Centre - Conception, pregnancy, baby and toddler advice. Offers email updates on your stage of pregnancy/baby/toddler's age and things you need to be thinking about at that time.
