Lands End - Paddle in the ford too
The Dew Drop Inn - at Burchetts Green, with beautiful country walks in the woods around! Well worth a trip, and really quaint! In the middle of nowhere, so a drive, but so close to Henley. Lovely food.
The Baskerville Arms - at Shiplake, with a nice enclosed garden at the back with a small little climbing frame area for little ones to play around it. Great food.
The Bottle and Glass - In Binfield Heath. Lovely large garden to run around in, with great food and a childfriendly atmosphere in the garden. Great in summer, particularly with their outdoor BBQ days.
The Elephant and Castle - in Hurst. Lovely atmosphere. Outdoor children's play area and separate bar for adults so your don't feel so bad about the noise.

The Ploughden Arms - at Shiplake Cross. Enclosed garden, lovely pub, great atmosphere. Fantastic food.
Baratta's at the Royal Oak - in Twyford, also has a lovely climbing frame area and encolsed garden at the back. Great food.

The Red Lion - in Peppard Common, lovely play area, football goals, climbing frame, wendy house and large area outdoors to run around in, with an enclosed garden.
Henley - Child-Friendly Cafes
Cafe Go:two at d:two - Nice, really friendly Cafe in the church with kids food and drinks and a little play area. Really handy as right next to the Children's Centre and the venue of many of the drop-in activities for babies and toddlers in Henley. Mill Meadows Cafe - nice simple cheap food served. Great after a trip to the brilliant children's outdoor play area (great for all ages) there - only a short toddle away. By the river, so can also be tied in with feeding the dogs, a nice walk along the river or run with a pushchair, feeding the ducks and watching the dogs and people go past.
Quince Tree @ the River and Rowing Museum - really lovely, great location, great cakes and food, and very kind and professional staff

Sheeplands at Hare Hatch - has a nice child-friendly Cafe, some outdoor play toys, grass to run around on outside with horses and a range of farm animals you can visit for a small donation. A lovely little in-door play area too, which is totally free. As well as keeping little ones entertained going round Sheeplands you can also do a high quality food shop and pick up bits from the garden centre, children's toys section and much more.
